Inter Emirates Motors, the official exclusive distributor for MG Motor in UAE, hosted an exclusive evening in Al Quoz, Dubai’s creative district, bringing together fleet customers and media representatives for a special gathering that celebrated the spirit of innovation and design. Guests experienced the all-new MG8 Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) in an atmosphere that reflected MG’s forward-thinking approach, where intelligence, craftsmanship, and passion come together.
The event continued in Abu Dhabi, bringing the MG8 PHEV closer to drivers in the capital. The event reflected MG’s evolving spirit, connecting innovation with emotion, and performance with purpose.
The landmark activation was delivered by Inter Emirates Motors (IEM), MG Motor’s official distributor in the UAE, and attended by leading figures from the region’s top limousine and taxi companies, further underlining MG’s growing presence and trust within the market.
Blending electric efficiency with turbocharged power, the MG8 PHEV stands as a symbol of MG’s commitment to progress. Elegant, dynamic, and unmistakably MG, it represents the next chapter in a story driven by passion.
Over the years, MG has successfully broken into a number of major categories, and has emerged among the top 10 car manufacturers across the GCC region. In 2021, MG selected IEM, a subsidiary of Ali & Sons Holding, as the official distributor in the UAE, and since then it has expanded quite rapidly as it now operates across showrooms – in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Al Ain and Sharjah – as well as service centers in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. Since IEM took over operations for MG, the automaker continues to gain momentum and in less than a year, was able to secure a 4% market share in the UAE with forecasts predicting continued growth.
